Issue #1: Naked under the sun

Hey Radical Health Seekers 👋

Welcome to the very first edition of our Radical Health Newsletter, where every weekend we explore all things radical-health related!

Now did you know that June is Great Outdoors Month?

We’re big fans, but we also think every month should be Great Outdoors Month, because we should be outside… Every. Single. Day!

Here’s why 👇

☀️ Our environment impacts our biology

99% + of our existence has been spent outdoors and connected with nature. In fact for much of this time we were naked under the sun at the equator!

We saw the sun rise and set every day. We got the sun on our skin every day, and were connected to the earth every day. We stared into horizons, had rain and wind on our face, and heard the sounds of nature every day!

And these things matter because they impact our biology. They affect our sleep, stress, hormones, and mental wellbeing.

😩 93% of our time is spent indoors.

Things started radically changing about 150 years ago. More people began working in factories and offices instead of outdoors. It’s only got worse over time, with technology, artificial lights and changes in the labor market all serving to keep us indoors. In fact it’s so bad that it’s estimated the average American now spends 93% of their time indoors.

But we need our natural environment like we need our natural diet. And it’s obvious that without either, our health and happiness is suffering.

Want radical health? Go outside more!

To enjoy a radical life, and radical health, we must spend more time in nature. We must step out of our zoos, connect with our wild inner humans and embark on epic adventures in nature!

Now if that sounds overwhelming, just remember that all epic adventures start with a single step!

“Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.” – John Muir

💊 Take the Nature Pill

The following is what we recommend as a MINIMUM dose of nature.

And we firmly believe that if more doctors prescribed the “Nature Pill”, lots more people would be enjoying radical health!

⏱️ Daily: 20 minutes in local nature

Aim for a minimum of 20 minutes outside every day in your nearest nature spot (e.g. park or garden). Walk your dog, chase the squirrels, watch the sunset, meditate or fly a kite!

This is radically effective at reducing stress and boosting feel-good hormones. But don’t bring your phone as it’s been shown to negate the benefits!

📅 Monthly: 5 hours in semi-wild nature

This is the minimum amount of time to spend in semi-wild nature each month. It’s a hike with friends or family in your nearest state park, or a morning spent surfing, hunting, or fishing.

The goal is to get AWAY from the sights, sounds, and smells of the city and to reconnect with the sights, sounds and smells of nature for a few hours!

🗓️ Yearly: 3 days off-grid

Aim to spend a minimum of 3 consecutive days off-grid in nature per year. This can be solo or with friends and family. Think camping on public lands with no cell reception and wild animals that might possibly eat you!

Research shows it takes 3 days to fully “unwild” and fully experience the benefits of nature, and that the feeling you get by Day 3 is AMAZING. By this time, your brain is releasing alpha waves, a similar effect to deep meditation or flow states. Trust us when we say that as soon as you are back in civilization you will be planning your next off-grid trip again!

🔥 Radical Transformation

“My son had suffered from eczema since he was 6 months old…

After he turned one-years old I had enough of treating him with hydrocortisone cream knowing it’s not addressing the root cause of his eczema.

When I found Dr. Paul I immediately started my son on an animal-based diet…

I gave him Skin, Hair & NailsBeef Organs, & Bone Matrix (since I took dairy out of his diet).

After 30 days my son’s skin was clearing up… after 60 days his eczema was pretty much gone besides a few stubborn spots…

After 90 days it was COMPLETELY gone and has not been back since!

He is a healthy, happy, little warrior boy! I can tell he feels radical, is vibrant, and is full of LIFE and JOY.”

🙌 This is why we do what we do

And if you have questions about how an animal-based diet and/or our supplements can help you and your family, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Health Success Team!

Now go outside and explore!
