Story goes: Lady forgets her cheeseburger only to find it a decade later, perfectly intact. 

There are lots of these stories online, and they serve to remind us that modern fast food is a toxic soup of chemicals and preservatives.

But there was a time when fast food was REAL food.

Where a burger was just beef, bun, lettuce, and cheese…

And fries were just potatoes cooked in beef tallow.

But that’s all changed.

Today’s Big Mac contains over 50 ingredients, many of which sound more at home in a laboratory than a kitchen:

  • Soybean oil
  • Propylene Glycol Alginate
  • Potassium Aluminum Sulfate
  • Polysorbate 80

And McDonald’s french fries contain a total of 19 ingredients, including:

  • Seed oils (canola Oil, Corn Oil, Soybean Oil, Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Natural Beef Flavor [wheat And Milk Derivatives]*)
  • Dextrose
  • Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate
    Salt (which isn’t actually salt, because it contains Sodium Silicoaluminate and Dextrose too)

And it’s not just McDonald’s… whatever your fast food outlet of choice, the food will be dripping in similar ingredients.

This transformation wasn’t an accident. 

In our upcoming documentary Fed A Lie, we expose how the food industry quietly hijacked our food supply, replacing healthy natural fats with industrial seed oils – not for our health, but for their profits. 

It was the beginning of a massive shift in how Americans eat.
