Issue #182: The case for fruit on an Animal-Based Diet

Fruit season is coming.

And if you’ve been eating animal-based for any length of time, you probably already know what’s about to happen:

The next few months are going to be delicious.

We have a fruit bowl in the office at all times. It’s non-negotiable.

isn’t it beautiful?

Here’s the thing about fruit and an animal-based diet.

It’s not a compromise. It’s not “allowed in moderation.” It’s not a cheat.

It’s part of the diet. Because it’s always been part of the diet.

Our ancestors weren’t debating whether to eat ripe figs in July.

They were tracking which hillsides had the best berries.

Scaling trees.

Following fruit across continents as the seasons changed.

Fruit was something you competed for. Something you looked forward to.

And then somewhere in the middle of the low-carb wars, we decided it was the enemy.

We weren’t wrong to ditch the processed sugar. But we threw out the strawberries with the Skittles.

Fruit is energy. Eat it and life gets brighter. It will improve your mood, energy and focus.

Fall in love with these:

Apples
Pears
Mangos
Strawberries
Oranges
Cucumbers
Squash
Grapes
Avocado
Lime
Pineapple
Bananas

You can just cook a steak and eat fruit for lunch. Nobody’s stopping you. Just don’t forget your Beef Organs.

That’s radical health.
